Lilium hybrid 'Lady Alice'
- Product number: 722375.1
- Origin: China, Japan
- Latin: Lilium hybride
This beauty is special to behold, also because of its height. The colour is cream white with a large orange-yellow heart and red speckles. This lily originated from the Lilium Henryi. This has resulted in tall (100-150 cm) but sturdy lilies, usually with slightly downward-facing, large, fragrant flowers. Extremely suitable for planting in the garden because they generally stand upright very well.
The lily has captured the human imagination for centuries: in the Bible as a symbol of beauty, in the Middle Ages as a symbol of virgin purity. The flower creates an effect of serene beauty in a semi-shaded spot in your garden....
