Daylilies are rewarding garden plants, generally hardy. Although the opened flower blooms for 1-2 days, the continuous production of new flowers ensures weeks to months of bloom. Give them fertile, well-drained soil and full sun. The buds and flowers are edible (lightly fry them). We selected from tens of thousands of varieties! Both single and double-flowered varieties exist; if single-flowered varieties have 3 (out of 6) extra petals, a triangular effect is created, otherwise the flowers have a round or star shape.
