I was once told that Queen Juliana loved this flower! It is truly a warmth-loving plant from South America (western side), which, during cool summers, is better kept in a greenhouse, conservatory, or on a windowsill. The 40-60 cm long flower stalks bear several pure white, hanging flowers in the shape of a large, exotic narcissus, but with a thicker texture. The sweet fragrance is truly a sensation, and the leaves are strikingly broad. The bulb usually doesn't flower in the first year; we buy the largest possible size to get blooms as quickly as possible.
