A cosmos that does not grow from seed and is therefore propagated by root division. The plant grows to 50-70 cm tall and blooms with dark brown, open flowers (as you are used to from the common cosmos). The leaves are less finely structured. And then the scent...: it confirms the expectations of the colour: a chocolate scent! Dig up the thickened root divisions again in autumn and store them (potted) in a cool, frost-free place.
