Caladium hybrids 'Pink Gem'

The somewhat finer, lance-shaped leaves are pink in the center with striking wine-red veins and a thick, dark-green border.

Each year, we purchase the largest possible tubers to grow these beautiful, large plants. In summer, they will create a wonderful spectacle of color in your garden, in pots or containers, and even in a large pot on the windowsill. Because these plants also grow very well in the shade, they provide color where most flowers cannot! In autumn, the plant dies back, and you can overwinter the tubers in a frost-free (and fairly dry) place.
