Double-flowered (with a visible, almost black center) scarlet red with a white ring around the center.
By far the most well-known anemone, loved throughout time as a cut flower and introduced to our country from France as early as around 1850. There are two known types: the De Caen type with large, beautifully colored, single flowers, and the St. Brigid type with semi-double flowers and rather narrow petals. They prefer nutritious, humus-rich soil and are sufficiently frost-resistant with some winter cover. Height 25 cm.
