Double-flowered (but with a visible, almost black heart) dark (navy) blue.
By far the most well-known anemone, loved throughout history as a cut flower and introduced to our country from France around 1850. There are two known types: the De Caen type with large, beautifully colored, single flowers, and the St. Brigid type with semi-double flowers and rather narrow petals. They prefer nutritious, humus-rich soil and are sufficiently frost-resistant with some winter protection. Height 25 cm.
