White with a black heart and a red circle in the center, single-flowered.
By far the most well-known anemone, loved throughout the ages as a cut flower and introduced into our country from France around 1850. There are two well-known types: the De Caen type with large, beautifully colored, single flowers, and the St. Brigid type with semi-double flowers and rather narrow petals. They prefer fertile, humus-rich soil and are sufficiently frost-resistant with some winter protection. Height 25 cm.
