Famous chives because of their light and pleasant garlic flavour. Harvested very young as microgreens or sprouts, the taste is extra refined and popular as a topping for dishes and salads!
This variety is grown as sprouts (for the white sprout) or as microgreens (for the young plant with cotyledons or the first true leaf). Sprouting takes place in the dark and warmth; the sprouts can remain fresh in the refrigerator for a week, provided they are properly drained. Microgreens are grown on moisture-retaining material (paper towel, cotton wool, soil). For germination, dark and warm; after germination, light and cooler.
