Borage is a wonderfully fresh herb, perfectly suited as a microgreen (harvesting the cotyledon) as its crispness and fresh cucumber flavor are already fully present in all their subtle nuances.
If we let the plants grow, they develop juicy, hairy leaves and beautiful sky-blue flowers, both of which are also edible: the leaves for salads and the flowers as a garnish "on top"! The fresh cucumber taste is also dominant here.
This variety is cultivated as a microgreen (for the young plant with cotyledons or first true leaves). Microgreens are grown on moisture-retaining material (paper towel, cotton wool, soil). Keep dark and warm for germination, then light and cooler after germination.
