Horses, goats, and sheep graze grass very short, while cows tear grass with their tongues. This requires a different type of grass. Furthermore, horses, goats, and sheep need grass with a lot of structure; pasture mixtures for cattle contain grass species with high nutritional value and are therefore not suitable for horses. The grass species in this mixture have a very low growth point, so they are very resistant to short grazing. In addition, special attention has been paid to palatability and trampling tolerance; the grass is not trampled!
Mixture composition: 20% Kentucky Bluegrass, 50% Perennial Ryegrass, 10% Strong Creeping Red Fescue, 20% Timothy.
