This (still) unknown tree is particularly popular because its flowers attract bees and bumblebees (a melliferous plant) and because it is a host plant for butterflies. The trifoliate leaves have a pleasant scent and the small white flowers grow together in large plumes. A buzzing feast of bees is not to be missed... After flowering, flat fruits appear, which adorn the tree until winter. These fruits can be used very well as a substitute for or an addition to hops for a special beer preparation! The autumn color is gracefully golden yellow. The tree grows to a maximum of 9 m high, so it's not too large. In a (large) pot, the tree can easily be kept to 3 m or smaller.
