Nymania capensis

  • Product number: 652180
  • Origin: South Africa
  • Latin: Nymania capensis

A special shrub that only occurs in South Africa. Rare and exceptionally beautiful! The plant is entirely adapted to extreme heat: small, leathery leaves. The pinkish-red flowers are already lovely, but the main eye-catcher are the pink to red bladder- or lantern-shaped fruits! The plants can tolerate a few degrees of frost; wrap them well in the garden or grow them in pots. Give them a sunny spot where water drains well. Growth is very slow.
