The nice thing about this tree is that it occurs as a fossil worldwide, but has retreated in the wild to a few places in China. Meanwhile, humans have ensured its renewed spread. The flat, fan-shaped leaves have an incision at the top. They belong to the (primitive) deciduous conifers.
Very suitable as a bonsai and in the garden, a substantial tree with beautiful yellow autumn foliage. In a large pot, the tree can be kept in check and is an ornament for the patio!
