This easy shrub grows readily and easily in almost any location, except in the shade. The leaves are pinnate, and after the bright yellow butterfly-like flowers, graceful, bladder-shaped pods emerge, which change from green to pinkish-red.
Due to its active root system, these shrubs are often used to prevent erosion. The plant also extracts nitrogen from the air and makes it available in the soil.
