Captivating mysterious plant, due to its ingenious adaptation to the swamp environment. The leaves are large and round, with the petiole in the middle. The wonderfully beautiful PINK flowers at first glance resemble our water lily, but in the center is the typical, flattened receptacle, where the seeds develop in cavities.
As an added bonus, all parts of the plant are edible: flower, (unripe) seeds, leaf and thick root!
Easy to grow from seed, see the detailed sowing instructions.
