Captivating mysterious plant, due to its ingenious adaptation to the swamp environment. The leaves are large and round, with the petiole in the center. The wonderfully beautiful LIGHT PINK flowers at first glance resemble our water lily, but in the center is the typical, flattened receptacle, where the seeds develop in cavities.
As a bonus, all parts of the plant are edible: flower, (unripe) seeds, leaf, and thick root!
Easy to grow from seed, see the detailed sowing instructions.
