This species has the strongest lemon scent of all Eucalypts. The leaves are also cooked as a flavouring, or used in potpourris. In winter, keep frost-free or overwinter as a houseplant.
One of the fastest and tallest growing trees in the world, spread from Australia (through human intervention) throughout the entire (sub)tropical world. The leaves are almost always greyish and have a strong mint scent, caused by eucalyptus oil. This is used for inhalation and massage.
