Beautiful plant that, in a large pot, grows into a shrub; pruning is possible. Just before leaf development, the plant produces incredibly beautiful clusters of bright red, tubular flowers.
Place this container plant outdoors as much as possible until night frosts arrive. In winter, place it in a very cool and just frost-free spot. If winters are mild, you can put it back outside.

Sowing method: Year-round, place the seeds in a dish and add 90°C water to soak overnight. Then sow in a pot with coco peat, mixed with silver sand. Keep moist and place in a warm spot at 20°-30°C. Germination can take a long time; as long as the seed does not rot, there is a chance of germination.
