Back with a vengeance: the versatile foliage plant, which eventually blooms with small blue flowers. As a houseplant, this warmly colored plant also draws a lot of attention. 'Wizard Velvet Rose' has coarsely lobed leaves with a fun three-color pattern: wine-red in the center, bordered by a creamy-white edge, and finally a fresh green finish with small wine-red spots. The plants have compact growth (hardly any pruning needed) and good shade tolerance.
A plant with an old "windowsill tradition". The nettle-like leaf comes in many shapes and color variations. Easy to sow, "a child could do it."
