SW Australia, the Mediterranean part. Probably one of the most cold-hardy kangaroo paw species! Give the plant a large pot: first, a clump of grassy leaves will emerge, from which sturdy stems will grow with clusters of hairy, claw-like flower bracts in a deep red color with yellow-green flowers at the top. Keep the plant moist but not too wet and in the sun. Protect from frost!
