Sisyrinchium angustifolium

  • Product number: 604675
  • Origin: North America
  • Latin: Sisyrinchium angustifolium

A lovely striking garden plant for a sunny and dry spot! Sturdy clumps with iris-like, grey-green leaves, "decorated" in June-July with 30-60 cm high open, sky-blue flowers with a yellow heart. The flowers grow one above the other in small clusters. Within the cluster, there is successive flowering, creating the charming effect of buds, flowers, and seed pods. If they are not too wet in winter, the leaves remain green. If this fails (the leaves turn black), do not cut them away.
