Salvia patens 'Oxford Blue' / 'Blue Angel' / 'Deep Blue'

  • Product number: 602400
  • Origin: Mexico
  • Latin: Salvia patens

There are many blue Salvias, but the patens is of exceptional beauty. The flower cluster is sparse and the labiate flowers are large with long petals. The color is navy blue with a lilac sheen: lavender blue. This color contrasts sharply with the fresh light green of the hairy stems and leaves..... The height is 75-90 cm; store the plants in a frost-free place; a harsh winter is disastrous.

Names:
Latin: Salvia patens
Dutch: Salie
