This descendant of Rosa multiflora is a wild rose found in Japan. The species stands out for its larger flowers and leaves. The single flowers grow in large clusters, they are white in the heart with a pink border and show their stamens. These have a strong sweet scent and produce a small re-bloom. The large leaves are pale green, shiny and very healthy. In autumn, small orange rose hips appear and remain on the plant for a long time. This climbing rose (2-4 m) does well in trees, against walls, pergolas, poles, fences, ... and as a shrub. You can also use the flowers and rose hips in bouquets. Bees, bumblebees, hoverflies and many other insects feast on the nectar.
