Many enthusiastic stories have tempted us to sell this variety. Easy growth in sun to partial shade, in rich soil or poor soil, as long as it's not too wet. The plant, with its shiny, star-shaped leaves, grows 25 cm high and flowers from June to August with spherical clusters of lilac-pink flowers. Its delightful scent and apparently abundant nectar ensure grateful insect visits. In winter, the plant dies back only to re-emerge vigorously in spring. Leave the dead plant parts for the birds: they'll use them to build their nests!
