Perennial honesty

Product number: 596350
Origin: Europe
Latin: Lunaria rediviva

The much-sought-after perennial Honesty! This easy-to-grow plant is still found in the wild in large parts of Europe, all the way to Siberia. These seeds come from plants from Slovenia (Boc Mountains). The basal leaves are quite large and heart-shaped. From May to July, the plant blooms with sturdy stems, 90cm high. The pastel blue flowers are fragrant and grow in a spherical cluster (like a phlox). After flowering, graceful seed pods (siliques) develop, in a surprising eye shape (elliptical). They can be peeled like the well-known round variety.

Sowing directly into the garden is also possible, then simply let winter pass over them, and germination will take place in spring.
