This is a non-climbing Lathyrus that prefers a cool, not too sunny spot and blooms in spring (April-June) with light pink to deep purple flowers above beautiful, pinnate foliage. Its height varies from place to place: 25-50 cm. Once this plant has found a spot in your garden, you'll be in love forever!
Hardy Lathyrus varieties are less well-known but certainly an enrichment for your garden. Every year, they emerge from the ground and climb to varying degrees (depending on the type) against netting or stakes. In a pot, it grows as a lush trailing plant.
