A very cold-resistant species, found as far as Iceland and Lapland! The yellow flowers grow in clusters, and the plant climbs up to 1 m high.
Hardy Lathyrus species are less well-known, but certainly an enrichment for your garden. Every year they emerge from the ground and climb to varying degrees (depending on the species) against netting or stakes. In a pot, it grows as a lush hanging plant.
