A breathtakingly beautiful iris from North America. Fairly compact growth (20-40 cm), 1-4 flowers bloom per stem: 3 light blue to white outer petals with beautiful veins, 3 smaller, light blue and pointed inner petals, and 3 light blue top petals. The plants are very hardy, spread underground, and love good drainage. Native Americans used the root for toothache.

Sowing method: Sowing: year-round in a seed tray. First, provide warmth (18-22°C) for 2-4 weeks, then a cold period (e.g., in the refrigerator at +4°C) for 4-6 weeks. Afterwards, gradually warm it up to room temperature, after which germination will follow. The seeds germinate irregularly over a longer period. Therefore, do not discard the seedlings too soon. Sowing directly into the garden soil is also possible; in that case, simply allow it to overwinter, and germination will occur in spring.
