It's becoming more winter-hardy with us and a fantastic red surprise in the garden!
Once established for a few years, this hibiscus grows to a height of 2 meters and blooms with very large red flowers (6-8 cm in diameter) and also becomes increasingly frost-resistant. Give it plenty of moisture in the summer (mulching and a small dike around it), not too wet in winter, and full sun. The distinctive hemp-like foliage, combined with its enormous height, gives the plant a particularly exotic appearance!
