This Japanese Cranesbill has a compact foliage and primarily grows in width to form a sturdy groundcover plant. The subtle, almost round flowers are white with light pink and dark pink veins.
As you can see in the photo, these plants grow, among other places, in the Botanical Garden in Utrecht, which is definitely worth a visit!
Ooievaarsbek is the Dutch name for the garden geranium, not to be confused with the geraniums planted in window boxes and pots; those plants are called Pelargonium.
