Here it is at last, desperately searching collectors can finally rest... Victor Reiter, an American breeder, discovered a dark-leaved mutant among the G. pratense. After years of selection, we can offer you a mixture with the deepest leaf colours: mahogany-bronze to deep dark red. If you didn't know, you wouldn't suspect it's a geranium! The height and growth habit vary, the flowers are usually blue, although purple, violet and mauve occur. Eliminate any green-leaved rogues! Height 60 cm.
Cranesbill is the Dutch name for the garden geranium, not to be confused with the geraniums planted in window boxes and pots, these plants are called Pelargonium.
