Imposing and cheerful garden plant! The thick, succulent, red stems bear the long, lance-shaped, grey-green leaves all around. At the top, a large cluster of bell-shaped cyathia appears (the actual flower is in the centre of the bell). The light yellow blooms are from April to June. Prune the flower stalk after flowering for quick regrowth.

Sowing method: Year-round in a seed tray. First, provide warmth (18-22°C) for 2-4 weeks, then a cold period in, for example, the refrigerator (+4°C) for 4-6 weeks, after which gradually warm up to room temperature, and germination will follow. The seeds germinate irregularly over a longer germination period, so do not discard the seedlings too soon. Sowing directly into the ground is also possible; just let winter pass over them, and germination will occur in spring.
