This is the largest Eryngium there is, a giant of up to 2-3 meters tall! From a large rosette of spiky leaves (as big as an agave), thick, sturdy stems grow, covered from top to bottom with small leaves and spherical flower clusters. The thousands of tiny flowers are visited by dozens of bees simultaneously, creating a joyful buzzing! Give the plant a sunny spot; the soil type doesn't matter, as long as it drains well.
