A species of pink that is becoming rare in Europe. This already indicates: sun and not too wet (especially not wet in winter). The wonderfully fragrant, fringed flowers appear early: in May-June. The plant forms a mat of narrow, grey-green leaves, the flowers are quite large (3-4cm), single, in various shades of pink and protrude proudly on thin stems above the foliage. Occasionally pick spent flowers for the longest possible bloom. After flowering, prune back slightly to encourage healthy plant growth.
