The name of this lovely plant takes us back to the monastery gardens of the Carthusian monks, where in earlier times they already cultivated this wonderfully fragrant flower. This pink-red selection blooms from June to September and attracts many insects, including butterflies. A lime and sun-loving plant, it already blooms in the same year if sown early.
