This shrub, originating from the Atlas Mountains (e.g. Morocco), has adapted perfectly to our climate. To be safe, give it a sheltered spot, well in the sun. The leaves are silky soft and silver-green in color and somewhat resemble clover or golden rain in shape, which is already very elegant! In early summer, tapered cones of bright yellow flowers appear. They have a wonderfully sweet pineapple scent. After flowering, prune them heavily to keep the plant sturdy. This nitrogen-fixing plant grows in the poorest soil.
