WINTER-FLOWERING. Very hardy variety, the best winter bloomer (late December - mid-April) for our climate. The leaves are gracefully silver-colored, appearing in autumn and remaining until late spring (unless very severe frost destroys them). The flower color is lilac-pink. Occasionally (but not always) the flowers are fragrant. They bring color to the garden even before the first snowdrops, spring snowflakes, winter aconites, or crocuses!
