Cheiranthus cheiri 'Goliath'

  • Product number: 581260
  • Origin: Europe
  • Latin: Cheiranthus cheiri

One of the darkest, deepest colours: chestnut with a red glow. The sweet scent of this wallflower is a joy every year! Height 50 cm.

Wallflowers owe their name to their spontaneous germination on crumbling (demolition) walls and/or their frequent planting at the foot of a sunny wall. So they love sun and, most importantly, not too much moisture! In such a spot, they self-seed; pruning old plants in time and mounding up some soil around them often results in new growth.

Names:
Latin: Cheiranthus cheiri
Dutch: Hoge Muurbloem
English: Wallflower
