A good hardy member of this fascinating genus. The pink to wine-red flower heads stand on 120 cm long stems (flowering period July-August) which, by the way, are fully covered with lance-shaped leaves below the flowers: a full leafy base! This strong cut flower will surprise you with a delightful vanilla scent and is popular with butterflies, bees and other insects in the garden. Give them a sunny, not too dry spot.
