Most Monkshood species are blue, this cream-white species is one of the exceptions! At a height of 80-100 cm, the proud, sturdy stems bloom with 20-30 calyx flowers each. This summer plant blooms in June-July; give it a semi-sunny to semi-shaded spot with moist, but well-draining soil.

Sowing method: Sow in a seed tray, first give 2-4 weeks of warmth (18-22°C), then give a cold period in, for example, the refrigerator (+4°C) for 4-6 weeks, then slowly warm up to room temperature again, after which germination will follow. Sowing directly into the garden is also possible; in that case, simply let the winter pass, and germination will occur in spring.
