A playfully growing, somewhat climbing native plant with elegant, pinnately divided leaves.
The numerous butterfly-like flowers are large (2 cm or more) and have a striking bicolouration: dark purple keel with a light purple standard. Vetch can be sown for a long time: if sown in July, a flowering plant will still emerge in autumn! This crop prefers nutritious, moisture-retaining soil and is very popular with beneficial insects!
