A mixture of 5 shades (yellow to reddish-brown) of marigolds, with visible centers. Because the newest flowers emerge above the faded ones, they don't spoil and bloom profusely until deep into autumn.
Single-flowered marigolds were once not appreciated: too common, "the more double, the better..." In times when wild and original flowers are again coming into focus, this type is now very popular! The open flowers gracefully show off their bright colors and visible centers. The flower is about 3 cm in diameter.
