French marigold 'Favorite Red'
- Product number: 557200
- Origin: Mexico, Central America
- Latin: Tagetes patula
Beautiful mahogany-red flower heads with an orange heart. Rain and cold resistant, blooms well into autumn.
Single-flowered marigolds used to be unappreciated: too common, "the more double, the better..." In times when wild and original flowers are regaining attention, this type is now very popular! The open flowers gracefully show off their vibrant colors and visible flower heart. The flower is about 3 cm in diameter.
