Tagetes patula 'Disco Flame' / 'Pygmy Golden Yellow With Blo'
- Product number: 557160
- Origin: Mexico, Central America
- Latin: Tagetes patula
This selection is extra compact and resistant to a (long) rainy period: the flowering continues undisturbed! The colour is like the older variety 'Ehrenkreuz': reddish-brown in the centre with an orange-yellow outer edge and an orange heart. Height 20 cm.
Single-flowered marigolds were not appreciated in the past: too common, "the more double, the better..." In times when wild and original flowers are back in the spotlight, this type is again very popular! The open flowers gracefully display their bright colours and visible flower heart. The flower is about 3 cm in diameter.
