Tagetes erecta nana 'Indiana Yellow' F1
- Product number: 555850
- Origin: Mexico, Central America
- Latin: Tagetes erecta nana
Bright yellow extra large flowers. Height 30 cm.
Giant-flowered African marigolds (5-10 cm diameter) remind me of my childhood; I loved their scent and enjoyed walking through fields of these big guys. Their large, spherical flowers are a wonderfully old-fashioned decoration for the garden, and for the taller types: they're excellent for cutting!
This Tagetes also has an effect against harmful nematodes (eelworms). For more crops, see the chapter “Useful Plants” in the group “Disease-repelling Plants”.
