Giant-flowered African marigolds (5-10 cm diameter) remind me of my childhood; I loved their scent and enjoyed walking through fields of these big guys. Their large, spherical flowers are a nice old-fashioned adornment for the garden, and the taller varieties are excellent for cutting!
