A serious improvement on existing attempts to grow a true white African Marigold. Because it is an F1 hybrid, there are hardly any colour deviations. The height is 40-50 cm (on fertile soil even a little higher and more vigorous). The sunnier the summer, the better the growth!
Giant-flowered marigolds (5-10 cm diameter) remind me of my childhood; I loved the scent and enjoyed walking through fields with these big boys. The large spherical flowers are a wonderfully old-fashioned decoration for the garden, and for the taller varieties: excellent for cutting!
This Tagetes also helps against harmful nematodes (eelworms); for more crops, see the chapter “Beneficial Plants” in the group “Disease-resistant Plants”.
