Almost white (cream), large-flowered African marigolds with a relatively compact growth height: 35-50 cm. They combine beautifully with almost all other colours in the garden! Now we just have to hope for lots of sunshine: they love it!
Giant-flowered African marigolds (5-10 cm in diameter) remind me of my childhood; I loved their scent and enjoyed walking through fields of these big beauties. The large spherical flowers are a lovely old-fashioned decoration for the garden, and for the taller types: they are excellent for cutting!
This Tagetes also has an effect against harmful nematodes (eelworms); for more crops, see the "Useful Plants" chapter in the "Disease-Repelling Plants" group.
