"Personal nostalgia: I loved the smell of African marigolds even as a child!" The African marigolds in this mixture are very suitable for both the garden and cut flowers. Height 80 cm.
Giant-flowered marigolds (diameter 5-10 cm) remind me of my childhood; I loved their scent and enjoyed walking through fields of these big guys. Their large, spherical flowers are a wonderfully old-fashioned garden decoration, and for the taller varieties, they are excellent for cutting!
This Tagetes also has an effect against harmful nematodes (eelworms); for more crops, see the "Beneficial Plants" chapter under the "Disease-repelling plants" group.
